Joseph Soto has been appointed AIGA LA President Elect for the 2025–2028 term, spearheading initiatives that support underrepresented creatives and elevate the visibility of LA's unique design voices.
Nickerson, a branding, marketing, PR and communications agency, has announced Director of Art and Brand Joseph Soto as President Elect of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) Los Angeles Board of Directors for the 2025–2028 term. Soto's leadership of the LA chapter will further their mission of advancing the role of design and enhancing professional development through educational programs and career development opportunities.
Joseph Soto joined Nickerson in 2019 and currently serves as the Director of Art and Brand, leading and celebrating the work of the firm's award-winning, multi-disciplinary creative services team. He is responsible for overseeing branding, visual identity, and creative strategy for both Nickerson and its diverse group of client-partners.
In addition to guiding creative excellence, Soto has also spearheaded the agency's expansion across the West Coast, driving growth through the launch and leadership of Nickerson's Los Angeles location. With a deep commitment to design as a cultural driver, Soto brings this visionary leadership to his new role, spearheading the expansion of AIGA LA's presence throughout the West Coast design community.
